Who is Red Truck Software?
Red Truck Software is a Logistics Logic brand. Logistics Logic was founded in 2003.
Our Red Truck Software brand was created in 2023, as a tribute to my late brother, John Knebel. Johnny rebuilt a 1979 Ford truck, which I treasure to this day, and wanted to honor his legacy with his very own brand, reflecting the quality he insisted on, with his own autobody work.
In his honor, and in celebration of over 20 years in business as Knebel.net / Logistics Logic, we created the Red Truck Software brand.

- Standardized Frameworks - we generally use CakePHP as the base, back-end framework for our software solutions, as it provides excellent security, performance, and scalability. We also use Bootstrap as the base front-end UI framework, as it provides a solid foundation for responsive design, and a huge library of UI frameworks, resources & components.
- Standardized Code Base - most custom software requires features for general administration, such as user management, keeping track of clients & vendors, modifying your website, and more. Our custom software generally begins with these features, so we can dive right into solving your needs! When we implement features for other clients, we add that to our library, allowing us to re-create functionality for future clients more quickly. This allows us to provide you with more functionality, while allowing us to charge a fairer price, by essentially creating "similar parts".
- Standardized Themes - we generally use a common theme across our applications. This allows us to implement a huge library of UI features for end users, while also giving us the ability to offer unique designs that support common technologies out of the gate.
- AI and Automation - wherever possible, we automate any feature or task we anticipate repeating more than 3 times. This helps us ensure a consistent architecture across many clients, which in turn helps us provide better & more solid functionality, often at a faster pace.
- 10% Re-Investment - as a general rule, we dedicate 10% of our time to improving our quality and efficiency. By researching and implementing new methods, and making refinements to our internal processes, we consistently realize higher quality, plus, we're able to offer a greater range of features, making us a one-stop-solution for your all of needs, from a simple website, to complex marketplaces, shipping, & inventory!
